Guess Who's Back ... With Another Cat!

Incredibly, I can't believe I've been away for so long. Chalk it up to a very busy life.

It's not that I haven't been turning old things into new things. It's just that I've been doing so much, when I'm not doing something else, that finding time to post a blog just doesn't work out. I don't know if I can remedy that because I intend to enjoy the fun things I do. For now, however, I have two items you might want to see. The first is this mosaic table top I made from garage-sale tiles.

The table was one of those glass top items. The base is a bit rusty and needs work, so it's not displayed here.But here's the finished product, which became a birthday present for a friend who adores cats ... and who is just waiting for me to finish the base so she can display this properly.

As for the other item I mentioned ... As soon as I get all the photos together, I'll post my solution to making the perfect pom pom without resorting to buying a special tool.
